STEP 1: Preparation, Getting your right tools before installing wall panels
Today, we are going to transform a plain white wall into a Germany linear wall style finish.
But before we start this renovation job, we need the right tools to do the right job.
Let see what tools do we need to achieve this job and show you what product we select.

Okay, this is what we need today to build our wall. Remember, you will also need to get ready to reload the nail for your nail gun.

STEP 2: Preparation 2, Placing packers to your existing wall
Our wall panels maximum spacing between packers are 400mm to 600mm.
To form the best finish to place all the packers, using a leveler on each packer before securing with screw or nail gun.
Why do we need the packer here? To avoid problems.
Most of the wall built in NZ is made with skirting panel.
This is the quickest way to cover the full wall without cutting anything or removing anything before installing wall panels on walls.
Suggestion packer thickness: 9mm to 30mm.
Of course, this can be thinner or thicker depends on the requirement.
Step 3: Measuring and cutting our wall panel
Finding the starting point, in our case, we are going to start from left to right to install wall panels on our existing wall.
First of all, measure up the total width and total height of the wall, next we cut wall panels into lengths with 10mm to 12mm allowance for finishing trim to be inserted later on.
Second, check barriers where will affect our wall panels to be placed.
In our case, our wall has a curtain rail and a pelmet on the top left corner which blocking our way to place the wall panel.
Third, mark the cutting sizes on the first wall panel and cut the marked area with a renovator or a handsaw.
Note: Our WPC-Wood products are packaged in boxes and each plank is covered with transparent protection wrap.
Tips here, remember to remove the protective wrap covers at least to avoid dust sticking on the new panels or scratches.
Step 4: Start install wall panels
For your information, our wall panels are made of 70% wood fiber and 30% PVC.
We normally use a nail gun to fasten our wall panels on packers to secure it before move on to the next one.
Alternatively or even better and solid finish, you can apply building silicone at the back of the wall panel to provide extra solidity to the wall.
Before we started here, we need to determine which way is the male side and female side(Our panel side view above, left side is male, right side is female).
Our wall panel modular allows you to stack each panel on top of each other one by one.
The male side always starts at the start point to allow the next planks to joint.
Furthermore, make sure using our leveler to ensure the level before shooting with our gun.
Without checking the level may lead to an unparallel finish wall.
Step 5: Cutting a hole for our power socket
On our existing wall, there is a power socket need to relocate on top of the new wall.
We stack our wall panels to the power point location. And Measure the sizes of the power socket(width and thickness).
We need these sizes to be cut on our wall panels to let them go through using the multi-tool.
Note: do not cut the hole too wide, otherwise we cannot secure screws to the power point on our wall panel.
Almost, we now require finishing to be done.
Using our 40×40 L-Shape trim to cover corners of our wall, and in the front, we apply our 2-inch slat top and bottom to cover the cutting edge with silicone.
In addition, this renovates project we have extended to cover the ceiling area too.
Furthermore, our wall panels can be applied on any flat surface.
Tips here, placing packers on ceiling require a stud finder or gib plugs for fastening.
